Conference Goal And Objectives:
The focus of the conference is to educate attendees regarding the life course perspective/preconception health highlighting social factors, breast feeding, preventing maternal mortality, preventing pregnancy complications and congenital anomalies, and promoting health equity.

Target Audience:
Physicians, nurses, midwives, social workers, mental health counselors, lactation consultants, community organizers, educators, human service providers, community health workers, child care providers, community leaders, businesses and consumers from the seven county Hudson Valley, NY region, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster.

Continuing Medical Education
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Accreditation Requirements and Polices of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) through the joint providership of the Westchester Academy of Medicine and Children’s Health & Research Foundation, Inc.  The Westchester Academy of Medicine is accredited by the MSSNY to provide Continuing Medical Education for physicians.
The Westchester Academy of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.5 AMA PRA Category I Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
