DESCRIPTION:NYPATH (New York Promoting and Advancing Teen Health)\, Physicians for Reproductive Health\, and the Callen-Lorde Health Center are pleases to announce the final NYPATH webinar entitled: \n “Providing Competent Care to LGBTQ Youth”\nUri Belkind\, MD\, MS\nClinical Director\, Health Outreach to Teens (HOTT) Program\nCallen-Lorde Community Health Center\n \nThe webinar is designed for medical providers involved in providing health care services to adolescents.  The purpose of the webinar is to: \n\nUnderstand the social context and developmental challenges of LGBTQ youth\, and the impact on their lives.\nDescribe barriers to accessing healthcare for LGBTQ youth.\nIdentify strategies to provide LGBTQ and yout competent healthcare into your practice.\n\n(NYPATH originally offered this webinar in 2013.  We would like to offer this important topic again with some updated content.) \n1 AAFP prescribed CME credit is available for this training (equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1).  Training and CMEs are available at no cost. \n
