DESCRIPTION:16th Annual Regional Perinatal Public Health Conference\nSee Brochure \nConference Goal And Objectives:\nThe focus of the conference is to educate attendees regarding the life course perspective/preconception health in an eco-bio-developmental context highlighting social factors\, parental incarceration\, breast feeding\, mental health\, NICU family experiences\, and eliminating health disparities. \nTarget Audience:\nPhysicians\, nurses\, midwives\, social workers\, mental health counselors\, lactation consultants\, community organizers\, educators\, human service providers\, community health workers\, child care providers\, community leaders\, businesses and consumers from the seven county Hudson Valley\, NY region\, Westchester\, Rockland\, Putnam\, Dutchess\, Orange\, Sullivan and Ulster. \nContinuing Medical Education\nThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Accreditation Requirements and Polices of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) through the joint providership of the Westchester Academy of Medicine and Children’s Health & Research Foundation\, Inc.  The Westchester Academy of Medicine is accredited by the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) to provide Continuing Medical Education for physicians. \nThe Westchester Academy of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category I Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. \nThe Westchester Academy of Medicine and the Medical Society of the State of New York relies upon planners and faculty participants in its CME activities to provide educational information that is objective and free of bias.  In this spirit and in accordance with the guidelines of MSSNY and the ACCME\, anyone with the potential to control the content of a CME activity are expected to disclose the existence of any relevant financial interest or other relationship the faculty member (spouse or partner) or provider has with the manufacturer of any commercial product discussed in an educational presentation. \n
